| Some images of the new steam loco, A1 No. 60163 'Tornado' which has made its first movements under its own power in steam at Darlington.
The project to build the first main line steam loco in the UK for 50 years has taken 18 years to come to fruition, but it is a fantastic achievement, and hearty congratulations to all involved. The loco will move to the Great Central Railway in August for trials and preparation for main line certification. One this has been achieved the loco will be painted. |
